Naami is an independent open-source project. It is not a registered legal entity, corporation, or organization. The project is maintained by individual contributors.

2. Hosting

  • Frontend application: Hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Baxter St, Los Angeles, CA 90026, United States
  • File storage: Hosted by Scaleway, 8 rue de la Ville l'Eveque, 75008 Paris, France (S3-compatible object storage, fr-par region)
  • Database: Hosted by Supabase (managed PostgreSQL)
  • Caching: Hosted by Upstash (managed Redis)

3. Non-Custodial Disclaimer

Naami is a non-custodial application. At no point does Naami hold, control, manage, or have access to users' cryptocurrency, digital assets, or private keys. All blockchain transactions are executed directly by users through their own wallets on the Solana blockchain.

Naami is not a financial institution, money transmitter, payment processor, or custodial wallet provider.

4. Cryptocurrency Risks

Using cryptocurrency and blockchain technology involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Volatility: The value of digital assets can fluctuate significantly
  • Irreversibility: Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed or cancelled once confirmed
  • Network risks: Transactions depend on the Solana network's availability and performance
  • Loss of access: Losing your wallet credentials or private keys means permanent loss of access to your assets
  • Regulatory risk: Cryptocurrency regulations vary by jurisdiction and may change

You are solely responsible for understanding and accepting these risks before using the Service.

5. Smart Contract Risks

Naami interacts with smart contracts deployed on the Solana blockchain. These smart contracts have not been audited by an independent third-party security firm. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure their correctness, smart contracts may contain bugs or vulnerabilities that could result in the loss of funds.

Use of the Service's blockchain features is at your own risk.

6. Not Financial Advice

Nothing provided by Naami constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Naami is a tool for tracking and splitting shared expenses. Exchange rates displayed in the application are sourced from third-party providers (Pyth Network) and are provided for informational purposes only.

You should consult a qualified professional for any financial, tax, or legal decisions.

7. Intellectual Property

The Naami name, logo, and associated branding are the property of the Naami project. The Service's source code is available under its respective license on GitHub.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Naami project and its contributors shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of digital assets, data, or profits.
